The Higher Education Scholarships Fund provides financial, logistical, and academic leveling support to Ecuadorian youth with demonstrated academic excellence who pursue university and technical education.
The program focuses on empowering students from marginalized communities and schools that Fundación Nahuel has previously supported, aiming to offer them a sustainable path to specialized and qualified careers.

Since 2018, Fundación Nahuel has worked to bridge this gap by not only offering scholarships but also by supporting students in every step of their educational journey.
Our approach prioritizes students from schools and communities where we have previously made infrastructure investments, allowing us to establish lasting educational ecosystems. These scholarships cover both tertiary education, which prepares students for professional careers, and technical careers, which provide specialized skills for the job market.

Our scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic potential, reside in marginalized areas, and lack the financial means to pursue tertiary education. Priority is given to students from schools we have supported in the past.
What expenses does the scholarship cover?
The scholarship typically covers tuition, living expenses, transportation, school materials, and other essential needs.
How long does the scholarship last?
Scholarships are granted for the duration of the student’s program, which can range from 2 to 6 years.
Are there support programs beyond financial aid?
Yes, we offer tutoring, preparatory courses, and logistical support for housing and living arrangements, especially for students relocating from rural areas to cities.
Can I choose to sponsor a specific student?
Currently, donations go to the general scholarship fund to ensure consistent support across all our students, but you may receive updates on how your support is helping our scholarship recipients.
