This project will create a safe space for children; it will be a bioclimatic architecture with alternative technologies and the use of local materials.

In this area there are no appropriate daycare centers and mothers are forced to carry their children on their backs while they work or leave them with older siblings.
Children are exposed to the inclement climate of the páramo, overcrowding and the low level of education and poverty of the parents, resulting in nutritional deficiencies due to poor nutrition that affects the health and growth of the children. These are also causes that impede the physical, intellectual and emotional development of the children.

The existing day care center does not have restrooms, the floors are dirt, the classrooms are in poor condition, the roof lets in rain, and the furniture is old and in poor condition. There are no teaching materials.

In this project, Fundación Nahuel will finance the specialized labor and external materials. The contribution of the community will be the unskilled labor, which will be carried out in the form of mingas.
The community has allocated 300 m2 of land for the permanent and indefinite use of the daycare center, including a public deed legalized and registered with the local government agencies.

They receive financial support from the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion for the operation and payment of the nursery staff.
